Hogan

:verb (used without object)

When a male has extra curricular affairs (operates/scores/has intercourse) with a female while the male is officially in a relationship with another female whether it be de facto/marraige/other. It is only a hogan if the female partner never finds out about the aforementioned extra curricular affair.
The term came into use during the start of the 21st century by males based around the Auckland area of New Zealand. It is thought that the term was used for code when around females as an alternative than using other terms such as cheating which had, and still do have negative connotations around the majority of the female population. The term is now widely used throughout the Southern hemisphere.
The term came from the Hogans Hero’s actor Bob Crane, who played Hogan in the hit television show. The film Autofocus illustrates Bobs obsession with sex and filming of his sexual encounters. In popular culture Cranes antics were frowned upon throughout the end of the 20th century. Recent studies by the Michigan Institute of Technology (MIT) have found that Hoganning is hereditary and only natural. Males have evolved and are programmed to Hogan, and should do without any guilt. However if an attempted hoganner gets caught hoganning by his partner it is techniquely not a hogan (See first paragraph) so the feeling of guilt is only natural. Logically by definition Hoganners never get caught.

“Did you see A Well Respected Man Hoganning on that absolute glamour last night ?”
“Hoganning is not a privelege is a right”
“No you didn’t Hogan her, you got caught therefore you are a cheater”
