Our beloved Westpac Stadium in Wellington is sitting quietly and peacefully at the moment. It was the venue of New Zealand’s biggest sporting event of 2009 – 1 shot to glory. Our team won, a ” ‘how did he do that?’ save” and the crowd roared for what seemed like forever. An emotional, happy scene and no doubt a scene punctured by the random boob grab by the willing and able.

Over the next month, every-body’s favourite little stadium draws crowds of a slightly different nature.

The first event is on the nights of the 28th and 29th of January, which will feature a little Aussie band called AC/DC. Due to their longevity, this band will attract a wide range of people to the Stadium. The vast majority however will be donned in black denim, cotton tee’s and leather. There is little doubt that the air will be filled with a certain sweet aroma.

The next event is a two dayer as well. The 4th and 5th of February is Wellington (& NZ’s) biggest party. The IRB International Seven’s tournament. Unlike the first event, you don’t go for the event, you go for the crowd. The crowd’s attire will represent every colour of the rainbow and there will definitely be a lot of skin – in a good way.

As a side note, the wheninromebro.com team will be represented at these events (amongst others).

The one thing that both events will share (exclusive of shared body fluids) is our favourite subject - Cougars. You just have to love them. Their want to love and nurture attracts them to such events in the hope of capturing a young stallion and taming him.

The AC/DC concert goes without saying. Overly tight leather on overly buxom bodies is a must at a concert of this sort. The roadies will feast on these ladies.  Leopard print is not out of place and it will be a battle for territory there will be so many of them.

The Sevens is where these temptresses will struggle. Traditionally, the weather breaks into extreme temperatures in this cauldron causing layers to be stripped. This works in the favour of the younger, more nimble female – a sight I particularly enjoy. This is a possible solution:

This promotion will help boost the Cougar numbers – they don’t work well in foreign environments, or when they are out numbered. WIRB is behind the idea.

What we are extremely dissapointed with is Air NZ’s Cougar scale. We are going on record to discredit it. No mention of Mountain Lions or Silver Foxes (not that the male scale is required in the first place – it’s like comparing melons to nuts).

Stick to keeping planes in the sky Air NZ, oh and also, great call on the new uniforms you did really good (insert Tui billboard here).
