Remember in Will Smith’s romantic comedy film Hitch, when he tells that fat guy from the King of Queens in order to get the girl he must substitute his sweet dance floor maneuvers for a subdued finger snap half steppin’ routine. The guy struggles to control his expressionist urges and gets down with his bad self regardless.

Wheninromebro.com is with the fat guy, we prescribe to the theory “dance like nobody’s watching”, whether it’s BillJobs imitating the guidos from Jersey Shore by ‘Beating the Beat Up’, Alice Clare Bourke ‘Moonwalking’ across Largerfeild to a Michael Jackson megamix or its Alistair McBird throwing an impromptu ‘Rooster’ in the Mount circa 2007, we do’s it our way, Dance Wild!!

The sacred artform of Daggering however is a totally different kettle of fish. Forged in the derilect backstreet dancehalls of TrenchTown, Kingston, Jamaica, only the bravest of the brave would dare Dagger their way through Courtenay Place on a Saturday Night.

Urban Dictionary:
Daggering
A term or phrase that is popular in the dancehall and / or in the lyrics of Jamaican deejays and singers. What is daggering? Some call it “dry sex” on the dance floor of a dance or party, but daggering is where a man and woman are dancing in a sexually provocative manner, which usually includes them simulating various sexual positions, and often times, rough sex, to the beat of whatever music is playing at the time. In recent times, dancehall artistes RDX and Mr. Vegas have both released daggering songs in tribute to the newly accepted name for an action / activity that has been present in Jamaica’s dancehalls for many years.
