Rednecks are generally associated with America’s southern states. They are viewed as unclean, uneducated white people who have a lust for hooch, gummy smiles, porches and guns.

Rednecks feature regularly in the Darwin Awards, the bigger issue for the judges on who to keep out. Rednecks are very special and are so American, even The Simpsons has a featured family headed by none other than Cletus “the slack-jawed yokel”.
