Obvious story here Bobby Brown ruined Whitney Houston who was the chosen one to cross the divide between DIVA and mainstream music. Bobby Brown was her bad boy that ended up being her kryptonite, She couldn’t live with him or with out…

The story you may not know, It was the end of the 1992 Primary school year at St. Teresa’s School, Karori. I was a 11year old rookie debuting at the year end disco for standard four’s and form ones (7pm to 9pm). My two mates at the time were in the year above me form one Ryan and Chris. We’d just been tagging Ben Burn park maze with all sort of lewd comments and the plan was to bring a couple of the easier girls down there after for abit of “Hide and Seek”. There was a problem though - being Ryan and Chris were single men, I was locked down and going steady with young Rachel she was a beauty, But wasn’t putting out (I did get to hold her hand and walk her to school though even if it was 3km’s out of the way). We strutted in to the disco with our starter hats payed our $5 (thanks Mum), We’d been sniffing spray cans and smoked 2 cigarettes each so we were feeling pretty happy. The music ensued, Hits kept coming snow informer, ice ice babyvanilla ice and slow jams fav’s like Boyz to Men end of the road. This is when I took my chance, After going for the 6th ass grab of the night and getting shot down (Ryan’s brother had some porn we’d been researching). I told Rachel either she was going to pash me or we’d break up. We broke up (This was actually a god-send she didn’t start putting out to her 5th form year 1997, This was a good thing though I didn’t know it at the time). Wallowing in my sorrow I turned to an easy mark, Young Lisa. With Bobby’s song blaring and all the boys mimicking the dance motions except using the floor as the other half of the scenario. I walked the young lass outside, It was lightly raining. I knew I had only few minutes till one of the teachers walked outside and blocked my metaphorical cock and quite literally to. I went in for the kill, We pashed our teeth clashed I dropped a hand down to her skirt. She blocked me, The male teacher stepped out and grabbed me, That was the end of the disco night for me!!. I’d have to wait another day….If it wasn’t for Bobby’s sexually provocative rhymes I wouldn’t have found the courage to make a beeline for the panties, I’d live to fight another day though !

Memories, Memories…
