Battling the hordes yesterday morning, the madness of the main streets over-powered me. I decided to find solace in a shop selling sporting attire – not the worst place in the world for me.

Taking the opportunity I had a browse around the shop and to my surprise, I came across the entire back catalogue of Air Jordans. Epic.

Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls were rock stars. Unbeatable on and off the court, Jordan sold his name to the then cool Nike and a brand of shoe as well as a legacy was born.

Whilst reminiscing about the years gone by, this advertisement popped into my head:

You can tell how old this is by the fact that there is a white basketball player. For those of you who don’t know that was Larry Bird. He was a big deal back in the day. It was so popular, McDonalds tried it again with LeBron James & Dwight Howard:

Michael Jordan is a legend and one the best Basketballers of all time.
