Back story: Super producer Dr Dre’s last official album was the subliminal hip hop classic ‘The Chronic 2001′, shortly following this album around ten years ago Dre proclaimed his next highly anticipated album to be named ‘Detox’. Unfortunately to the duress of many, including myself, and with years of Dre continually feeding to the public that it will be released, ‘Detox’ to this date hasn’t yet seen the light of day. Hotly talked about and debated in hip hop crowds as “the greatest album to never be released” and by others as a fabled urban legend, the following is apparently the lead single.

Personally the beat is nice (he’s Sonically still the best hip hop man around) and so is the video, but Dre’s verses are monotone and lyrically lackluster, Snoop is meh and Akon is a hot piece of Senegalese trash.

But that’s just me, judge for yourself……..
