The model T ford how did they do it?
The Model T Ford.. only made 15 million. Wait WTF?
Yeah you heard right. Actually they almost made 15,500,000 model T fords in any color you wanted so long it was in black.
Not only did they create a great car but the real genius is in the production line building nearly 1 million cars a year. Massive trains carrying ore and wood would drive directly into the massive 5 mile long factory and cars would then drive out the other end.
Ford is making a huge comeback in the states right now. They didn’t take any coin from the US government during the downturn and they are currently once again innovating. In 2010 the World Ford Focus is set for release. This will be the first production car they have ever built that will be release with the same design and spec for the world over. They have taken the best bits from each corner of the globe and put them together to keep the Frogs the POHMS the Ausy’s, Kiwi’s, arabs all happy. The car will effectively be the same world wide in turn saving ford huge money on production costs thus less green house emissions bla bla if you believe in that stuff. I wonder how fast the old stig could take this car around the top gear track? Overall its super impressive at how well the car handled terrible road conditions. Any who check out the video and get the kids. I must also mention that Holden will still reign supreme over ford… cant wait till Bathurst next year. Sorry I’ll stop talking, please enjoy….. BJ over n out.
