Wellingon Races 2011

The Wellington races never cease to amaze. I don’t get out to the Hutt all that often so its always a bit of an adventure. The days of taking in a boot load full of piss, people sleeping on the lawn in front of the stand, and people actually going to watch horses race are for the most part gone. These days much like the 7′s its a chance to dress up, have a bit to to drink, perv and have some fun. Maybe if you haven’t spent your benefit or student loan payment you might have a gamble also. One of the best attractions much like the NZI 7′s are the people that go to the effort to dress up and impress. So I took the camera long and with a few wing men built up some courage to take some snaps. I’ve got a canon 500d with a 18-55mm lenses.. nothing flash, but people thought I was the real deal so I wasn’t going to shatter there dreams by telling them I don’t work for snapstar.
